At Holywood Dental Care, we’re pleased to provide NHS dental care for children whose parent or guardian is registered with the practice.
If your child is under 18, or under 19 and in full-time education, they may receive NHS dental care with us while you continue your own care privately or through Denplan.
Our focus is on helping children build healthy habits early, keeping a close eye on developing teeth and making dental visits feel relaxed and familiar from the start.

When should my child first see a dentist?
We encourage parents who are registered with Holywood Dental Care to bring their children along from an early age, ideally from around their first birthday or when their first teeth begin to appear.

We are not currently accepting children as NHS patients independently where their parent or guardian is not registered with the practice.
